I wish the world were a better place to live in right now. Many people are having a rough time for alot of different reasons. I suppose I have said that before, but it is in fact the world we live in. I try to be aware of what is happening. I ask myself what I can do. I spoke to a woman today on Facebook who said she started her day looking at my postings of my fine art photos of nature. This made me feel good and clearly it helped her. Enjoy the delightful photo above of PowellsWood Garden in Federal Way, Washington. It is amazing there. If you live in the area, don't hesitate to take the time. Love and light to you and yours!

Freedom day is just around the corner! I hope you choose wisely in the celebration of your freedom and extend your love and compassion to others. The uptick in the virus here is not music to my ears. I will remain dutiful in wearing a mask in an effort to display that I care about the health and well being of those around me. What about you? Be well and enjoy your freedom.

Above you will see a hardworking woman seeking to live her best life and make her dreams come true. Yes, she's black! The weekend events were another reminder of racial inequity in the United States. It exists. It's heart wrenching and beyond me how anybody could possibly kill a black man in such a cold hearted way. I can't even find the right words. But this I do know. We as white people really can''t pretend to understand what it is like to be black. One thing I do know, murder and
abuse of black people in this country must stop. There is no excuse. All people need to learn to deal with their issues. If your heart is so darkened that you want to murder another human being, please seek help.

This weekend won't be a happy one for alot of people. It will be a time of remembrance. In the past I always felt Memorial Day weekend was all about the sales. Maybe this year due to the virus all people will stop and think about how precious life is. The loss of life from the virus is huge. I have had loss in my life. Time seems to stop at that moment. People who have had loss will know what I mean. It is an unfortunate passage we must all make whether we are making our transition to the spirit world or watching another meet their maker. It all hurts. Maybe we can take pause this weekend for exceptional human kindness in any little way we can. It may not be the obvious. Giving another space may be what they need as grieving is not an easy task. Follow your inner judgement; extend love, silently, loudly, without stuff and food. Consider it all. Take pause, give thanks if you are here.

Slowly, the economy is opening back up. I don't know if things will be the same as they were because this is going to take some time. The governor of the state of Washington cares about his people and wants to ensure the health and well being of all. Coming from a different perspective, some have said this is a time of healing for the entire planet as we are all impacted. The earth is breathing freer now since the pollution level is not so high and the air clearer. New lives are being unfolded and talents rediscovered. Companies are waking up to new ways of operating. We are all forced to get real about everything, lifestyle, health issues and finances. Maybe now in this year 2020 we will realize that the old archaic methods we have been employing for years are not working. What if we had tried to stop and reconsider everything we had been doing without the virus and loss of life? Maybe if we were more conscientious about our actions this wouldn't have happened. Maybe now with new eyes we can see the importance of health and people. And the earth.

It is a trying time we are all living in with regard to the coronavirus. Perhaps if we are lucky enough to live through it, we will become a more conscientious group of people in terms of the importance of our health and the health of those around us. Maybe we as people will finally understand the frailty of life. As we see the events unfold either through our own eyes or the eyes of others it is clear that the virus knows no boundaries with regard to age, race, sex or political preference or any preference for that matter. It has leveled the playing field and reminds us of what is important. Many have seen the death of loved ones. They will never see them again. Young, old, rich and poor all are being impacted. So today take the time to remember the things that are meaningful to you, take the time to care for the self and try to love one another. You know the drill.
Feel free to email me with questions.
Thanks for taking the time.
